Tasman Forestry Ltd: Te Teko nursery - 1994 Te Teko formulates its own growth medium, using different mixes of mineral salts, plant growth regulators and gel, which is colour coded for different growth stages. For instance, technician Glennis Paterson is filling pots with an orange coloured, long term cool storage medium. Behind her, some pots have a pink growth medium which encourages plant elongation, while other pots with a clear medium are used to induce multiplication.
