Tasman Forestry Ltd: Te Teko nursery - 1984 Contract crews lift radiata pine cuttings from beds at the Te Teko nursery. After a quick trim of the roots, the baby trees are packed into special boxes, 125 at a time, ready for delivery to planting crews in Tasman Forestry plantations. During the winter planting season, the crews work through all weather, wet or fine, to maintain delivery schedules. The boxes are clearly marked as containing perishable seedlings, and aptly carry the legen: !'Seedling trees for tomorrow!'s forests
