Description
The series consists of buildings constructed by The Fletcher Construction Company in Wellington.
The construction jobs include Victoria University Science Block, Queen Margaret College Assembly Hall, Johnsonville Shopping Centre, the Railway Station, the old Dominion Museum in Buckle Street and the IBM building on the Terrace. Also many smaller commercial buildings in the Hutt Valley are included. There are included in the series some photographs of staff working in an office, interior of buildings including and residential houses and hotels.

Large projects such as the Johnsonville Shopping Centre, the Science block at Victoria University and the IBM building consist of a series of progressive images taken over the period of construction.

The series includes street scenes, vehicles, office interiors, residential and the city business district of the 1950's and 1960's. The staff photographs are unidentified.
