Description
This series covers Fletcher Holdings Ltd plywood manufacturing activities from 1954-1974, which were carried out continuously under a series of names. In 1954, NZ Plywood Ltd became part of Fletcher Industries Ltd and in 1961-62 it ceased to be known as NZ Plywood Ltd. From then until 1967 plywood manufacturing was carried out by the Plyco Division of Fletcher Industries Ltd. In 1967, the Plyco Division transferred to Fletcher Timber Ltd. Plyco was a brand name used from the beginning of plywood manufacture.
