History
Fletcher Health and Science Department was established in 1971 by Fletcher Industries Ltd to market a wide range of medical, industrial and scientific apparatus.

The department was headed by MW Beckingham.

The department obtained many sole agencies with leading overseas firms including Wang Computers in circa 1972. In 1976 Wang USA wished to establish its own presence in New Zealand and the agency was reliquished.

No mention is made of the division post 1976 in Fletcher Holdings Ltd Annual Reports.
