History
Amalgamated Roofing Ltd was established in Napier in 1965 as an agent for an British manufacturer of truss bridges. Subsequently in association with the New Zealand Ministry of Works, Amalgamated Ltd developed their own designs and geared up for manufacture. In 1993 a name change to Eastbridge Industries, the company componentised bridging systems - both deck and through types as well as plate gerder and spans. In 1996 the company named changed back to Amalgamated Roofing Ltd and is part of the Steel Sector. The company is non-operating.
