History
Prior to joining the group, Michael Hood worked for 10 years with Dunlop in the City of London.
In December 1979 he joined Tasman Pulp and Paper Company Ltd as Planning and Finance Director.
Following the merger of Challenge Corporation, Fletcher Holdings and Tasman Pulp and Paper in January 1981, he became its first Treasurer.
In 1984 he was appointed Planning Director of Fletcher Challenge.
In 1989 Michael was appointed Business Development Director of the Forest Industries Group.[1]
He is married with 5 children.
