Winstone Concrete Ltd was formed as a consequence of the almalgamation of the activities of Winstone Quarries Ltd and Winstone Concrete Industries Ltd. The entity controlled the North Island's quarry, readymix concrete, concret masonry, concrete pipe and bulk fleet transport operations.
Winstone Concrete Ltd became part of the Fletcher Challenge Concrete Industries Sector as a result of the acquisition of Winstone Ltd by Fletcher Challenge Ltd in 1988
