Description
Much of the material in this series has been collected as part of early Fletcher Holdings Ltd Archives under the headings Sir James I Autobiography, Fletcher and Morris, Kirkintilloch, Commissioner of Works, and miscellaneous. Some material not directly related to Sir James from the miscellaneous section has been placed in another series (0402).
The items in box 2 were not part of this collection, but were transferred from HA Fletcher's office in Fletcher Challenge Ltd House in 1988. Items 19 onwards in box 1 were transferred from other sources at later dates. Item 21 was written by Sir James's daughter Ella and deposited at Hugh Fletcher's request.
