"At the charity auction section of the "Filly of the Year" dinner, Wrightson Bloodstock rep Jim Lambert shows Fred Beguely the bottle of French champagne he just purchased for $400. Mr Beguely put the bottle back up for re-auction and it was purchased for $500 by Jack Lindsay. The charity dinner and auction raised a total of between $4 and $5000 for the IHC. Looking on are Mr and Mrs McAnnalley and Mrs Beguely."
