Description
The series consists of buildings constructed of Roskill Stone blocks manufactured at the Winstone Block Plant in Three Kings. Roskill Stone was a colourful building material widely used in the 1950s and 1960s. The items include housing using Roskill Stone both interior and exterior, churches and small commercial buildings. Many of the photographs were featured in the publications, Winstone News and the Winstone Centennial book
