Description
On Friday 23 June 1967 Wright, Stephenson & Co Ltd moved out of building on the corner of 22 Customhouse Quay/Waring Taylor St to their new building, 105-109 The Terrace/Lambton Quay, Wellington. They had occupied the Customhouse Quay building from 1916 when the company purchased the merchant firm of W & G Turnbull Ltd.
The series consusts of images taken during the last week of occupancy showing employees and various offices. The last part of the series shows the demolition of the building
