Description
This series consists of the operations and activities of Wright Stephenson & Co Dunedin Branch established in 1861. The head office of the company was also an intergrated part of the Dunedin office until 1918 when it was moved to Wellington.
Many of the buildings used by the company in Dunedin are included in the series including the railway wool store and the horse bazaar in McLaggan Street. Also the company premisies in the sub-agencies of Balclutha, Balfour and Lawrence, and the grain store on of the Waimea Plains. Company rugby and cricket teams and motor vehicles used by the company in he early nineteen hundred's. Staff photographs and stock sales.
