Description
Each item consists of an envelope of photographs. One print from each envelope has been selected for listing and digitising. The remaining unlisted prints are usually of the same subject taken from various angles and stages of a project. For example a fencing demonstration may hold up to 20 other prints showing different stages of the demonstration. In many cases the description has been transcribed from the envelope.
The series consists of the operations and activities of Cyclone Industries Ltd, a manufacturer of wire and metal products for agricultural, commercial and residential use. The series include interior views of the factories, display stands at agricultural field days, fencing competitions and buildings such as hay sheds and farm barns. The products include fences for deer, goat, cattle and sheep, farm gates, mesh and electric fences and stock yards. The domestic products include oven trays and rubbish bin holders. Large freight containers were produced by the company from the 1970s.
